The New Chambly Route


Foreword

It is no longer possible to head towards Mont St. Bruno or Chambly along the routes that I took in 1992 and 1999 respectively. In the first days when I had passed here (1992), the restricted, bicyle-prohibited roadway along Route 116 did not begin until after one had passed the Route 112 interchange in St. Hubert. When I had returned in 1999, the restricted freeway began just past the construction site at the railway crossing. Now, I believe, the entire length is restricted roadway.

It was possible in 1992 to ride along the wide, paved shoulder of Route 116, from the Taschereau Boulevard interchange up to the point where the frontage road began as a small turnaround

To date, I have not ridden along the paths suggested below.
