A sunny morning, after a week of solid rain
Up at 10:00, I mow the lawn after breakfast
Then, at 12:00, I set out on a bike ride:

12:33-25 Lachine light.  X film
Lachine waterfront is thick with shad flies!

 I learn that there were two canals!  The former was only filled in in 1964!  It was to the west of current, where park is now

15:55 Beaconsfield.  I return via Beaconsfield Blvd, a route I have not taken in many years.  Little commercial centre to old Beaconsfield

16:40-48 Stop at Beat Cafe, have a cafe au lait to warm myself.  Cold & drizzly outside   $3.75
